Square Enix last week announced the release of the new Final Fantasy XIV extension package release the Stormblood which will be available from 2017 Summer in all regions on PC and PlayStation 4.

And what about the PlayStation 3? Not just not going to release for PS3 but Square Enix going to ends all the support of the PlayStation 3 version Final Fantasy XIV Online with the release of the Stormblood.
If you still want to play with the game with full support from 2017 Summer you must upgrade for PlayStation 4 and use the PlayStation 4 version of the game.

To help for the upgrade, Square Enix started today a special upgrade campaign where you can change your PlayStation 3 version game to the PlayStation 4 version.
The campaign runs from October 17, 2016 until December 31, 2017 (yes, 2017).
If you have expired use period, as long as 14 days, including the day you made the campaign procedure, you can play “Final Fantasy XIV” PlayStation 4 Edition for free.
